Peristaltic Pump Provides High Cell Viability
The Ismatec Flowmaster FMT300 peristaltic pump features a convex roller and concave tube-bed design for accurate, gentle transfer of media. The roller and tube-bed design compresses the tubing progressively from the center outwards, causing a temporary gap that permits the cells to escape before being squeezed. Cell viability remains high and cell damage low. The single-channel pump features three stainless steel rollers and provides a maximum flow rate of 13 L/min. Aseptic transfer of cells and media is ensured due to the closed system that minimizes risk of contamination.
