Electronic "Ice Cube" Chills Samples at Workstation
The 6.5" × 4.75" IC10 "Ice Cube" takes virtually no bench space and uses aluminum sample blocks that can accommodate nearly all routine sample containers. Included are centrifuge tubes of 0.2 ml, 0.5 ml and 1.5 ml as well as PCR tubes and plates, 96-well and 384-well assay plates, plus test tubes and more. The Peltier-driven device works from a small bench top universal power supply that takes AC inputs from 95 to 265 VAC, 50/60 Hz, and coverts that automatically to 12 volts DC to operate the unit. UL, CSA and CE compliant, the IC10 chills to 30 C below ambient on its surface and can chill the largest sample blocks to 4 C with ease. The unit includes chiller module, universal power supply, AC line cord for the country of use, and instructions.
