Programmable Stirring Hot Plate
The EchoTherm Programmable Digital Stirring Hot Plate is for use in laboratories performing hands-off sample preparation and experimentation. Programming is done through the front panel membrane switch and custom liquid crystal display. The unit can store in memory ten programs of as many as ten steps each, where each step is a temperature, temperature ramp rate, stirring speed, and time. Heater plates are 8× 8 white, solid ceramic for high chemical resistivity and quick heating. Plate surface temperature or solution temperature can be controlled directly using the appropriate PID control loop to ۫ C of the target. Accuracy is 1% of the reading using 100 platinum RTD circuitry. The units are supplied with calibration certificates traceable to NIST.
