Extraction to Injection in One Process
Booth 2955. The MEPS system is a miniature of conventional SPE packed bed devices from milliliter to microliter bed volumes. Results are identical to conventional SPE. In addition, the system reduces the time needed to prepare and inject samples. The cartridge design enables micro SPE to be combined with LC or GC automation and reduces the volume of solvents needed. Sample volumes can be as small as 10 μL versus the several hundred microliters needed for conventional SPE. The MEPS approach to sample preparation is suited for reversed phases, normal phases, mixed mode or ion exchange chemistries. C18, C8, C2, mixed bed or unmodified silica packings are available.
