LC System Features Rapid-Resolution Configuration

The 1200 Series LC system is reverse-compatible with the previous 1100 Series. This convenience enables users to combine past and present modules and to continue using existing methods without costly new method development, revalidation or retraining of operators. The company also provides an 1100 Emulation Mode for users until third-party software upgrades are available. Applications range from forensics to food safety, pharmaceuticals and protein research. The Rapid Resolution System provides up to 20× faster analysis and 60% higher resolution than conventional LC systems. Its high throughput configuration allows sequential execution of more than 2000 samples per day. Features include more than 70 additional Rapid Resolution High Throughput (RRHT) columns and a high performance pump that can handle flow rates from 0.05 to 5 mL/min and up to 600-bar pressure. Extended-range ZORBAX 1.8-micron RRHT columns permit fast flow rates, superior pressures and high efficiencies. Columns range from 1 mm to 4.6 mm in internal diameter and from 20 mm to 150 mm in length. More than six bonded phases are available at 5-, 3.5- and 1.8-micron particle sizes.
