Flexible MS Switches between GC and LC Format

The 320-MS triple quadrupole mass spectrometer is capable of femtogram detection limits and a mass range up to 2000 Da for identifying a range of compounds. Researchers have the option of switching between an LC and GC format because of its flexible design. The instrument is available as a triple-quadrupole MS or as a single-quadrupole MS that can later be upgraded to a triple-quadrupole. The compact unit utilizes less than 72 cm of linear bench space. The complete package includes proprietary MS Workstation software version 6.8, HPLC pumps and detectors optimized for LC-MS, gas chromatographs, and a comprehensive line of chromatography columns, including Pursuit HPLC and FactorFour GC columns. Particularly useful for environmental scientists, both LC-MS-MS and GC-MS-MS are used to identify, confirm and quantify contaminants in drinking water, waste-water and soil.
