Micro GC With Differential Mobility Detector

The CP-4900 Micro-GC, combined with the CP-4900 DMD Differential Mobility Detector, is an information-rich detection product for trace level, multi-component analysis of gaseous samples. Uniquely, the CP-4900 DMD offers sensitivity in the 100-ppb range and is virtually matrix independent. Applications are found in petrochemical, natural gas, environmental, and life science technologies. The system accurately selects multiple target components out of co-eluting peaks in a single analysis run. Typical GCs are unable to select components that may appear as a cluster when peaks elute simultaneously. The CP-4900 DMD overcomes this limitation by incorporating a unique tunable ion filter that selects specified components out of any matrix. This approach to GC analysis adds separation power to the detector portion for enhanced selectivity.
