HPLC Column Separates Proteins and Peptides
The ProPac IMAC-10 HPLC column separates proteins and peptides by immobilized metal affinity chromatography (IMAC). The stationary phase consists of a 10-μm, nonporous PS-DVB substrate surrounded by a highly cross-linked hydrophilic layer that has been modified to have nanoscale IMAC interaction sites. This minimizes nonspecific binding, allows for a single protein or peptide to interact with a single IMAC site, and results in high efficiency and resolution for analytical separations. The column is versatile enough to separate his-tagged proteins, phosphopeptides, monoclonal antibodies, prion proteins and more. Its stability at high pressures helps increase flow rates and throughput.
