Amino Acid Analyzer with Automated Critical Functions

Booth 4053. The L-8900 amino acid analyzer features many automated critical functions including built-in vacuum degassers for buffers and reagents, continuous sparging of ninhydrin, and monitoring of multiple leak sensors. Its autosampler adopts the direct injection system for reduced carryover and provides a 200-vial capacity for both the standard and optional cooling racks. The analyzer also has optional buffer and reagent level sensors that determine the amounts remaining in each bottle. As with its predecessor, it continues to use the reaction column, the 3-μm ion exchange resin, and the separate ninhydrin solutions that are mixed online for stable and reproducible results.
