Neutral Density Filters for UV-Vis Spectrophotometers
Neutral Density filters are for UV-Vis spectrophotometer calibration in the visible region. They play an important role in validating the absorbance scale and linearity of spectrophotometers. Traceability to a NIST primary SRM is no longer limited to the 0.3 to 2 absorbance range. The new filters of the extended range are manufactured within an ISO 9000 quality environment and calibrated in the proprietary ISO 17025 accredited lab. They are certified on an instrument that has been referenced to the new NIST primary reference material SRM 2930 (Starna equivalent set RM-D1D39N).
