Viscometer Offers Advanced Peltier Temperature Control

ViscoStar is an on-line differential viscometer that incorporates a traditional four-arm “bridge” design. The instrument can measure intrinsic viscosity across the peaks of monodisperse sample, providing accurate readings. It incorporates a high efficiency heat exchange to offer stable baselines and features a Transducer Protection System to protect sensitive transducer membranes from accidental damage. Advanced Peltier temperature control (4 C to 60 C) eliminates the need for an external water bath and allows the instrument to operate at the same temperatures as the HPLC separation. Proprietary band-broadening correction algorithm integrated in the ASTRA software solves the problem of inter-detector band broadening.
