Biosafe Centrifuge Packages
Biosafe labware includes transparent Aerosolve canisters and biocertified covers; disposable HarvestLine System Liners that retain the pelleted sample for direct decanting, immediate use or freezing; and one-touch sealing OptiSeal rotor tubes that eliminate the need for tube puncturing or sealing tools. A range of Biosafety Certified Rotors is offered, which have been independently tested by third party facilities. Design features include a fluid containment annulus and dual-locking lid. Large-volume canister systems provide a secure seal with an integrated filter to prevent aerosol contamination. The Avanti J Series High-Performance Centrifuge and the Optima Series floor and tabletop ultracentrifuges are offered with HEPA filtration, for protection against hazardous aerosols and splashes. Additionally, tabletop ultracentrifuges can be placed into a biocontainment hood for an additional level of security.
