Multipurpose Centrifuges Feature Brushless Induction Drives
Allegra X-22 Series Benchtop centrifuges are up to 10 inches, or 25 cm, thinner than comparable bench centrifuges, offering space savings for smaller laboratories. A line of 11 rotors and 18 adapters provides flexibility for a range of applications. The instrument offers three different ways to spin 1.5-mL and PCR tubes. At their highest capacity, they spin four 250-mL bottles at up to 3,901 x g. Refrigerated and non-refrigerated models are available. The unit features a brushless induction drive for quiet operation and minimal maintenance, and is provided with ten acceleration and deceleration profiles.
