Small, Embedded Motherboard for I/O
The Nano I/O Server, an embedded motherboard system, supports the line of USB and PC/104 I/O modules. The motherboard/baseboard measures only 120-mm across. Right-angle mounted connectors include VGA, RS-232, four USB 2.0 ports, PS/2 mouse and keyboard, and Ethernet. The server utilizes any embedded ETX CPU board that meets the ETX standard for processing while providing PC/104 I/O module expansion. Whether an application requires a high-end 1.8-GHz Pentium M, a fan-less mid-range 600-MHz Celeron M, or a low power 100-MHz processor, the unit can provide a system solution to match a user's specific requirements. Although smaller than EPIC embedded boards, the server still supports PC/104-Plus I/O modules in an upward stack.
