Digitizing Software for Windows and Mac OS X

Booth 4002. Windows and new Mac OS X versions of UN-SCAN-IT automatically convert scanned graphs to (x,y) data using a drag and drop interface, colored data line follower, improved grid line filters and a graphical (x,y) data eraser. The software also works with any scanner or image input device, and it can be used to digitize journal graphs, strip chart output, old graphs or any other hard-copy graph. The software can integrate peak areas, smooth data, take derivatives, enhance data resolution, edit and append data, re-scale graphs and store data in ASCII format for use in other software packages. In addition, gel software is available for quantifying electrophoresis gel images.
