Online Sodium Analyzer Helps Manage Ion Exchange Resin
The 9245 online sodium analyzer is used for boiler/steam generation and cooling water applications. Measurement of sodium concentration, recognized as an important index for water quality control, enables users to monitor several critical areas of their process to optimize performance. Monitoring indicates possible stress corrosion of the super heater, gives early warnings of excursions on condensates, and detects hydroxides and chlorides that contribute to the stress corrosion of austenitic steel. It also helps manage ion exchange resin and ensures the quality of de-mineralized water delivered to the makeup plant. The analyzer provides a detection limit of 0.01 ppb and measures from 0 to 10,000 ppb. Features include automatic reactivation without acid etching, small volume grab sample, programmable pH set point with temperature compensation and minimal maintenance.
