Fast Cycle Times for VOC Analyses Using Direct Resistive Trap Heating

The Eclipse P&T cycle time for the full list of 86 to 100+ VOCs can be reduced to just 16 minutes without sacrificing performance and without skipping or bypassing the water management step. OI Analytical's patented direct resistive heating allows the trap to be heated more rapidly and more accurately than the old-style heater jackets seen in many models. As a result, the desorb and trap reconditioning steps can be reduced significantly, and the overall P&T cycle time can be shortened to just 16 minutes. Other P&T designs are forced to compromise trap and chromatographic performance and neglect water management steps to achieve short cycle times.
