Protein Analysis Unit Connects to Existing GPC/GFC Systems

The company's Triple Detector Array (TDA) characterizes proteins, protein aggregates, and other biopolymers. It operates online in a continuous-flow mode and provides protein molecular weight, size (hydrodynamic radii down to 1 nm), and conformation in a single experiment under standard chromatographic conditions. The triple detection method also provides intrinsic viscosity, which enables recognition and record protein denaturation. Triple detection analysis is a non-destructive method, so valuable protein samples can be recovered. It utilizes a four-capillary viscosity detector, an RI or UV detector, and a light scattering detector. The complete system is embedded in a temperature-controlled compartment that also keeps the separation columns under well-controlled conditions. The TDA easily connects to an existing GPC/GFC system and comes with dedicated software for data acquisition and analysis, as well as a module for preparing customized charts and presentations.
