405-nm 50-mW Violet Laser Diode Module
The temperature-controlled Instrument Quality (IQ) module emits 50mW of violet output at 405 䔮 nm. This development in laser diode technology represents an increase in power over the proprietary 20 and 25 mW versions. Potential applications range from flow cytometry to high-resolution printing to biodetection. The technology will serve any number of OEM applications, particularly those requiring exceptional stability. The unit features a PID temperature controller and precision current source that work to ensure stable wavelength and output. The unit features an adjustable focus, quality glass optics, and optional beam expanding optics and is available with a circularized beam or with standard elliptical output.
