Glove Boxes Protect Users from Hazardous Airborne Particulates

Precise HEPA-filtered glove boxes provide a physical barrier to protect users form hazardous airborne particulates and powders. Uses include pharmaceutical research, nanotechnology and biochemistry applications, as well as cleanroom applications requiring ISO Class 3 conditions. Space-saving, counterbalanced inner and outer transfer chamber doors pivot upward and are equipped with quick-latches and pressure relief valve. The main chamber interior measures 13 cu ft, and the transfer chamber is 11.0 ID by 12.0. Additional features include an exclusive one-piece molded, medium-density polyethylene shell and a viewing window of 0.25 thick laminated safety glass. Inlet and outlet HEPA filters are 99.99% efficient on 0.3-micron particulates and include a test port for challenging HEPA-filter integrity. The built-in blower has a speed control capable of airflow from 13 to 100 cfm. The Precise line also includes basic glove boxes, controlled-atmosphere glove boxes and XPert weigh boxes.
