Thick Film Heaters for Gas Chromatography Applications

Proprietary thick film heaters provide thermal characteristics, smaller heater profiles, greater chemical compatibility, and ultra-pure materials. They are available on 400 stainless steel substrates or on ceramics in the form of aluminum nitride and alumina. Using these materials, the company can now offer film heaters with multiple circuits and ramp rates up to 40 C (104 F) per second. Applications include gas chromatography, calibration devices, differential scanning calorimeters, and other analytical applications that require heightened temperature uniformity, quick heating and cooling, and a low-profile design. Additional benefits of thick film heaters include thin substrates that allow them to be designed with lower profiles, and material compatibility that is ideal for most ultra-pure and demanding applications.
