Petroleum Pour Point Testing
Developed around the HCP 852, the Test Method for Pour Point of Petroleum Products (Robotic Tilt Method) allows pour point testing intervals of both 3 and 1 C, providing tighter accuracy and resolution necessary for blending and process control of fuels, biodiesel, and lubricants. This automated cloud and pour point analyzer measures according to ASTM test procedures, and controls each test step with microprocessor precision to eliminate human error. Robotics controls all sample movement, while a high-resolution CCD video detection system simultaneously examines the entire sample for movement (pour point) and crystal formation (cloud point).
