Automated System for Post-Extraction Clean-Up

The automated GX-271 GPC Clean-Up System is an instrument for automated post-extraction clean-up of interfering substances from environmental samples, food products, and animal tissue by gel permeation chromatography (GPC) prior to analysis by HPLC, LC-MS, GC, or GC-MS. To improve the optimal analytical results, lengthen hardware and column life, and increase analytical system uptime, this automated system removes the interfering compounds after sample extraction and prior to analysis. The system provides an affordable option for laboratories performing residue analysis of complex matrices such as fatty foods, soils, sludge, animal tissue, and plant tissue. It features a direct injection module and a fraction collection valve located on the Z-arm, thus reducing sample carryover and post valve dead volume. Accompanying Trilution LC software is a flexible program that was designed to meet the laboratory needs and features specific to GPC post-extraction clean-up processes.
