Ultra High Temperature Furnaces
High temperature laboratory furnaces combine upgraded temperature control instrumentation with mechanical design and insulation improvements. This provides improved control accuracy, greater thermal responsiveness and efficiency, and enhanced operator safety. The range of 1400 C, 1500 C and 1600 C box and tube furnaces all utilize silicon carbide heating elements. The control system allows easy voltage adjustment to the SiC element circuit, assuring original furnace heat-up and performance characteristics remain unchanged. Ultra high temperature 1700 C and 1800 C furnaces incorporate long-life molybdenum disilicide heating elements and are offered in box, tube and bottom loading designs.
