Purge and Trap Minimizes Downtime for VOC Analysis

Velocity XPT Accelerated Purge and Trap provides fast cycle time for purge and trap analysis by reducing the time to complete the dry purge and bake modes. These reduced cycle times are achieved while minimal levels of carryover are maintained and without sacrificing data quality. By utilizing an electronic mass flow controller to increase gas flow rates, dry purge time can be reduced to one minute and bake time can be reduced to two minutes. Because the same bake volume is used, carryover is minimal, even at these reduced times. With this capability, the purge and trap cycle time can be cut by up to 15 minutes depending on the original cycle times.
