Static/Dynamic Headspace System

Headspace sampling is an industry standard technique in the analysis of a variety of compounds. The two major different type of headspace analysis are static and dynamic. Until now, both types of analysis required either two separate units, or a unit modification that permits only one type of analysis per sequence. The HT3 Headspace System offers both types of headspace sampling in one unit. With the instrument the analyst has the ability to switch between static and dynamic headspace techniques within a single schedule, allowing greater flexibility for a variety of applications. The system’s versatility makes it suited to an expanded number of applications including residual solvent and OVI analysis for pharmaceutical manufacturing, pre-screening high-concentration environmental samples to prevent damage to purge and trap systems, and analyzing dissolved gases that aren’t successfully captured with purge and trap analysis.
