Barcode and RFID Label Printer Uses XML
EASYLABEL 5.5 Platinum's XML monitor watches a file directory or transmission control protocol / Internet protocol (TCP/IP) port. It also automatically prints RFID or barcode labels when a compatible XML file is received, providing a direct connection to any application capable of generating a properly formatted XML file. The XML generator prompts for the formats, the number of labels to print, which printer to use and the variable data used to populate the fields of the format. The resulting XML file can be used as a template that can be uploaded to and populated from within an XML-enabled application. The .Net framework and Windows 2000 or Windows XP is required to use the generator. This solution is made possible through the use of the XML generator and XML monitor and does not require special XML-enabled printers.
