Rotary Cone Sample Divider
The SP-25 Fritsch Rotary Cone Sample Divider uses a specially grooved dividing cone for representative sampling of powders, suspensions and slurries. Rotational speed up to 100 rpm results in fast sampling while maintaining the accuracy of the rotary sampling method. Each resulting sample is composed of a large number of subsample cuts up to 3000 per minute. The flexible instrument is able to equip with any of six interchangeable divider heads, giving sampling ratios of 1/8th, 1/10th or 1/30th. Dividing accuracy is ۪.1%. Aluminum, Poloxymethylene (POM) and glass contact parts make the instrument safe for various materials, including foodstuffs. Aluminum heads are best for abrasive materials. Any of the six divider heads can be used with suspensions and dry powders, and sample capacities are limited by sample bottle or reject container sizes. Features include a rugged cast aluminum housing and maintenance-free drive motor with slip clutch. The instrument is CE marked and has a 2-year manufacturer's guarantee. Equipped with a 1/8th divider head, it measures 10.6 W × 17.7 D × 18.3 H.
