Solvent Delivery System and Software
The PhasePrep II is a new instrument designed to document and prepare solutions and mix solvents for HPLC mobile phases, titrations, extractions and more. From one to eight internal pumps can dispense virtually any solvent at rates up to 500 mL/min, but can still control flow down to as low as one drop per second. The internal electronic balance has a capacity of 8.2 kilograms and a resolution of 0.01 g. Solvent mixtures and solutions can be prepared in volumes as small as 10 mL or up to 7 L. An internal touch screen industrial-quality panel PC controls the instrument. Accompanying software allows up to 100 different mixtures and solutions to be preprogrammed and recalled. Methods can be written for solution concentrations expressed as g/g or g/mL.
