Particle Size Analyzer Utilizes Electrical Sensing Zone Method

The Elzone II 5390 particle size analyzer utilizes a powerful particle characterization technique to determine quickly and accurately the size, number, concentration and mass of organic and inorganic materials. The technique, an electrical sensing zone method, accurately sizes samples of varying optical properties, densities, colors and shapes. Automated features include startup, run and shutdown routines; blockage detection and clearing; flushing and rinsing; and calibration. The instrument determines particle size in a range suitable for various specimens down to 0.4 μm. It is equally suited for industry, quality control, and research and development labs.
