Low-Volume Liquid Sample Handling Unit
The Low-Volume Liquid Sample Handling Unit is for use with the Saturn DigiSizer 5200 laser particle size analyzer. The low-volume system requires only 1/5 or less the liquid volume of a standard system to carry the sample (approximately 100 mL). The unit is fully automated, with autodilute and rinse capabilities, and is available with an optional inline ultrasonic probe for fullest sample dispersion. It is ideal for analyses in which the sample quantity is limited, or the dispersion liquid is limited, expensive, and/or hazardous or difficult to dispose of. It also works with the optional MasterTech automatic sample handling system to assure that every sample is prepared and analyzed exactly the same way, each time.
