Filters Compliment SPE Apparatus for Oil and Grease Extraction
The StepSaver for solid phase extraction saves time and simplifies the disk method for oil and grease. This apparatus for Method 1664A allows the analyst to collect the solvent containing the oil and grease fraction directly into a preweighed collection flask with no disassembly or reassembly of glassware. A complement to the StepSaver, UltraFlow solid phase extraction filters features a laminar design that combines a prefilter with a high capacity SPE filter. This results in an oil and grease extraction filter with fast flow, high loading capacity and optimal recovery. The filters disks are sold in a variety of sizes. Also, 47-mm disks are available preinserted into convenient, disposable polypropylene funnels.
