Lateral Flow Robotic Containment Enclosure
Booth 4506. The Lateral Flow Robotic Containment Enclosure design is flexible, energy efficient, and accommodates the longer layouts and various shapes encountered on robotic designs. The lateral airflow combined with dual filtration provides a high level of containment. HEPA filtered air is circulated through the enclosure, protecting the product from outside contaminants. Exhausted air flows through HEPA and/or organic filtration, ensuring personnel are protected from harmful particulates, gases or fumes. Through the use of Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD), a process that utilizes computer modeling techniques, the behavior of fluids and gases in the enclosure are mapped, ensuring maximum containment is achieved. The design facilitates the addition of waste chutes, service access doors or umbilical connections as needed.
