Two-Minute Protein Test Eschews High Heat
The Sprint rapid protein snalyzer provides a protein determination in 2 minutes that is said to be more accurate than Kjeldahl and without the use of harsh chemicals or high heat. The compact, easy-to-use system uses proprietary advanced iTAG protein-tagging technology, which “tags” only the protein in a sample for analysis. The analyzer is not affected by non-protein sources of nitrogen. AOAC- and AACC-approved for many food products, this tagging technology is also non-toxic and environmentally-friendly. All parts that touch the sample are either disposed of after use or are self-cleaning for easy operation and hassle-free maintenance.
