Polypropylene Ductless Fume Hoods Help Labs Go Green
The AC4000 series of ductless fume hoods draw room air into the enclosure, filter chemical fumes and vapors via bonded carbon filtration, and then pass the clean air back into the room. Traditional total-exhaust fume hoods remove tempered air from the laboratory while more heated or cooled air must be returned to the lab via the building’s HVAC system. This constant cycle is one of the largest points of energy consumption for the modern lab. By filtering and returning room air back into the laboratory, the fume hoods break this energy-wasting cycle.
