Multi-Sample, Four-Column Purification System
The SP4 EXP-four-column sequential FLASH purification system features an expanded fraction bed that measures 26 wide × 23 deep × 24 high. It also supports a range of cartridge sizes—FLASH 12+S (4.5-g silica) through FLASH 75L (800-g silica). With the expanded fraction bed, users can collect up to 5.8 L with at least 24 fractions for each four-column run. The self-guided Touch Logic Control software operates from a large touch-screen and provides advanced flash chromatography technology. A wizard takes users step by step through loading. The software also features independent column control and on-the-fly programming. Users can automatically create a sample-specific gradient method by entering the TLC data, and the system will suggest the optimal cartridge depending on the sample load size. Furthermore, the system automatically calculates the solvent needed for a purification sequence, monitors the usage and notifies users to replenish the solvent reservoir as needed.
