HPLC System Delivers 15,000 psi Pressure

The X-LC series of extreme high pressure liquid chromatography instrumentation is capable of delivering solvents at pressures in excess of 15,000 psi. These pressures coupled with the X-LC line of columns allow the user to achieve chromatographic speed, sensitivity and efficiency beyond traditional HPLC. The X-LC is still able to run traditional HPLC methods with the added benefits of the high pressure system. The small footprint allows two systems to fit in the space previously occupied by one traditional HPLC system. Each component of the system can be programmed individually or can be software-controlled. Columns can be purchased in sizes ranging from 1.0 × 10 mm to 4.6 × 100 mm, and with particle sizes of 1.5, 3.0 and 5.0 microns. The X series UV-Vis detector coupled with EZChrom Software has the ability to collect 100 data points per second.
