HPLC Analysis of Chiral Pesticides
The proprietary HPLC system with CD detector is optimized for high sensitivity analysis of chiral pesticides. A range of compact modular HPLC components plus EZ Chrom Elite 21 CFR Part 11 compliant software enables the assembly of the optimum HPLC system for pesticides, and the CD detector provides high sensitivity and stability for chiral analysis. The CD detector simultaneously determines both CD and UV adsorption of the sample in the same cell for the direct determination of optical purity. The use of chiral pesticides continues to increase, as they can be effective at lower application rates. To make assessments it is necessary to understand the effects and persistence of their enantiomers. The HPLC with CD detection is a way to detect these pesticides and discriminate between the enantiomers.
