LC-MS System Employs Formula Predictor Software

The LCMS-IT-TOF mass spectrometer features Formula Predictor software, which takes advantage of multiple levels of fragmentation, isotope pattern verification and fragment-ion filtering techniques to determine the correct formula for unknown components. This system reduces or eliminates the need for tedious, manual processing of target candidates. The collection of target compounds can be reduced from a high number of possible candidates for predicting the most likely empirical formula with a mouse click. The software addresses the needs of biomarker discovery, trace-amount impurity identification and natural products research. Features include high mass accuracy MSn analysis, a high-sensitivity, full-spectrum TOF analyzer, constant mass accuracy and mass resolution in all MS modes, and high-speed polarity switching.
