GC/MS Features Extended Mass and Ion Source Temperature Ranges

The QP-2010 Plus GC/MS is suited for rapid analysis of difficult samples and determination of trace components. Complex organic mixtures can be characterized in fields from forensics to food and flavor sciences. The instrument features an extended mass range from 1.5 to 1090 m/z, allowing analysis of higher mass compounds. An extended ion source temperature range from 100 C to 300 C increases flexibility and reduces maintenance. Dual 200-L/sec turbo pumps increase sensitivity and column flow capacity, showing 2× the sensitivity for octafluoronapthalene (OFN) and 3× the sensitivity in electron impact (EI) and negative chemical ionization (NCI) modes over the original model.
