Custom Molded Tubing Parts Eliminate Leaks
Custom molded tubing parts manufactured from PVC-based plastisol address problems that can occur with typical tubing and fitting connections, such as leaks, labor costs, flexibility and uneven flow. Each dip-molded part is custom engineered and manufactured to a user’s specific need. Applications include appliances, dispensing equipment, fluid delivery and mixing systems, manifolds, general air or fluid transfer, and supply and drain lines. With no tubing/fitting connections, there are no opportunities for leaks to occur. The parts arrive ready to install, and offer unimpeded fluid or air flow for better performance as there are no connections to obstruct flow. The parts also save space in tight areas and reduce overall weight. Other benefits include the material’s flexibility and the availability of FDA, 3A, NSF and UL flame retardant grades. Various Shore A durometer hardnesses are offered. The plastisol material may also be colored to match or differ from other components.
