Computerized Heat Treat System
The Computer Controlled Heat Treat System (CCHTS), developed for the testing and heat treating industries, provides high quality control. The CCHTS software, in conjunction with furnaces and temperature control systems, provides automated testing, data acquisition, job progress, calculation and presentation of testing/heat treating data, and record archiving. The system has been implemented in labs for controlling an entire facility of furnaces. Test/job conditions, ASTM specifications, ramp/soak specifications, gassing on, and quenching can all be specified with the software, which provides various base materials to be selected for heat treating or testing.
