Forensic Kit
The forensic kit is designed for the examination of fingerprints treated with fluorescent stains. The kit contains a portable light source with a 250 watt halogen bulb, a fiber optic light guide, excitation and barrier filters and goggles. Excitation light can be switched between white, blue and green due to an integrated filter wheel that allows the user to quickly change filters with the turn of a knob. The total light flux of the light source is 1,300 lumens at the light guide output. The kit can be used in the field or the laboratory for all known methods of developments such as DFO, Cyanoacrylate-Rhodamine, Cyan + Safranin and Cyan-Ardrox.
