Imaging Software Tailors to Each Experiment and User

ZEN 2007 is a software program for use with laser scanning microscopes. The user interface is clearly structured and flexible, allowing it to be individually tailored to each experiment and user. Additionally, the Professional-Basic concept reduces the complexity of the interface without decreasing the range of functions; users are able to decide at what point they require full functionality, allowing them to focus their full attention on their research work. Any settings made can be saved and re-accessed at any time or sent to other users. The color and brightness of the program’s input fields and buttons are adapted to the typical lighting conditions encountered in a laboratory environment. The resulting contrast makes it possible to recognize details in fluorescence images that were previously not visible.
