Confident Analysis at High Temperatures

The VF-5ht UltiMetal column for high temperature gas chromatography is resistant to damage under extreme operating conditions. The highly durable columns allow chemists to analyze samples confidently at very high temperatures up to 450 C. Based on a stainless steel capillary, the columns address several problems associated with fused silica columns. A proprietary manufacturing process renders the steel inert and enhances the bonding of the stationary phase. The result is long column lifetime with superior peak shape and low column bleed for optimal detection limits at high temperatures. Uses are in the separation of high boiling mixtures, such as long chain hydrocarbons, polymers, plastics, waxes, motor oils and more.
