Moisture Analyzers for Basic and Demanding Environments

The MB35 basic level moisture analyzer delivers fast and reliable results for applications including chemical, pharmaceutical, food and beverage, and environmental. Also introduced is the MB45, a high-precision moisture analyzer designed for demanding environments. MB35 features a 128 × 64-pixel backlit display that displays percent moisture, weight, temperature, and time. Its intuitive software and three-key operation is easy to use, and the three-language display includes English, Spanish, and French. It combines a small footprint with a large pan size to save time and laboratory space. This instrument is GLP-compliant and logs results with an optional printer, or sends data directly to a computer via the RS232 interface. The MB45 analyzer is suitable for sampling applications in the food processing, pharmaceutical, and chemical industries, providing loss on drying results for volatile content in powders, pastes, and/or liquids. The statistical function mode for process analysis makes the MB45 effective for applications in quality control and assurance. It performs all calculations, displays the end results, and prints out the information for recording purposes. Halogen heating technology performs up to 40% faster than infrared drying technology and allows users to heat samples from 50 to 180 C in less than 1 minute. An integrated database stores up to 50 drying procedures to eliminate the need to enter common drying procedures time after time.
