Ion Chromatography Automated Sample Preparation Station

Combustion Ion Chromatography determines halides and sulfur content in hydrocarbons. The Mitsubishi AQF-100 is an automated inline combustion system that traps the products liberated during combustion and injects a sample to the IC system. The system allows determination of sub-ppm concentrations, total speciated halides (fluorine, chloride, bromine, and iodine) and total sulfur (as sulfate) with one instrument. The AQF-100 simultaneously performs combustion and absorption operations, which significantly improves measurement quality while reducing time and sample handling costs. Features include an automated boat controller (ABC) that injects liquid samples into the furnace automatically, and a fully integrated absorption unit (GA-100) that assures sample integrity. Windows-based software enables controls the combustion process and reports the results of the chromatographic run.
