Compact Centrifuges Accept Conical Tubes Directly

The proprietary line of compact centrifuges includes the Z100-A, Z150-A and Z200-A. With these units, samples do not need to be transferred to another tube for processing. The three models accept 15-mL conical tubes directly as well as smaller tubes with the use of adapters. The Z200-A accepts tubes as large as 50 mL, expanding its capabilities to other applications in the lab. The Z100-A offers variable speed, from 1000 rpm to 4000 rpm (1900 × g), and features a six-position rotor. The unit can be timed from 1 min to 30 min or for continuous operation. In addition, the clear lid allows the rotor to be visible while a rotor seal minimizes aerosol emissions.
