High Speed Microcentrifuge
The Spectrafuge 24D microcentrifuge features a digital control system that is easy to use and provides precision control of operation. Included with the centrifuge is a high capacity rotor for 1.5 or 2.0 ml tubes, which makes it easy to load and unload sample tubes. Speed is variable to a maximum of 14,300 rpm (16,300 x g) for quick separation of nucleic acid and protein samples. A digital timer controls run time, or can be set for a "quick spin". The digital displays on the front panel show run time as well as speed in RPM, or the calculated g-force value.
