Glass Columns Available in Range of Bore Sizes
Omnifit's precision chromatography columns provide a solution for low-and mid-pressure applications. Robust and easy to use, they are solvent resistant, fully biocompatible, and operate at pressures up to 1200 psi (80 bar). Manufactured from precision-bored borosilicate glass and with inter PTFE-wetted parts, the columns cope with harsh laboratory chemicals. They also have minimal dead volume, which ensures smooth fluid flow and eliminates sample contamination problems. With ergonomic end pieces for quick and simple height adjustment (up to 80 mm), each column is supplied fully assembled with all necessary fittings. A range of frits with pore sizes down to 10 μm allows the columns to support beds packed from even the finest media. Substituting pre-fitted polyethylene frits with PTFE versions can create a totally inert system. Columns are available in bore sizes of 3, 6.6, 10, 15, 25, 35, and 50.5 mm, and in lengths between 50 and 1000 mm. A range of accessories includes bleed valves, funnels, and frit insertion tools.
